Question:How can I avoid blackheads, ingrown hairs and shaving spots?

Answer:Preparation is so important to achieving a more comfortable and closer shave which is something craved by lots of men who wet shave around the world today.

Solution:Most Men do not tend to deep cleanse their skin thinking a splash of water on their face is enough! Well, if you don’t use a facial wash at present then more than likely this can cause problems like blackheads, ingrown hairs and spots after shaving which occurs in some men.

We strongly recommend using Logo Small Gray Facial Wash at least 3 times per week to help alleviate these issues. The tiny emollient beads in this wash will clear away the dead skin cells which will give your skin a healthier look and also help lift the hair enabling the blade to shave you closer.

Tip:If you are suffering from ingrown hairs use your thumbs in a circular motion to lightly massage the affected area. Never squeeze or extract an ingrown hairs using tweezers.

Second

Question:How can I get a closer shave but without the discomfort?

Answer:Most men who wet shave attack their face and neck at 100mph with the razor and they usually don’t apply enough lather either which can lead to problems like razor rash and burn.

Solution:Try and find a little more time by giving yourself say “an additional 5 minutes”,by doing this and introducing Logo Small Shave Oil before applying the Shave Crème you will find the oil will soften the beard hair further offering your skin extra protection and enabling the razor blade to glide over your face and neck with much more ease.

Third

Question:I have sensitive skin and find shaving uncomfortable?

Answer:72% of men who report to have sensitive skin genuinely don’t have sensitive skin? From our extensive research there is a significant difference of having sensitive skin to sensitised skin a condition caused by irregular shaving (less than 2 shaves per week). We found that by increasing the amount of shaves to at least 4 per week and introducing the correct shaving products heavily reduced the shaving discomfort by upto 82%!

Solution:By increasing your weekly shaves you are ‘toughening up’ the skin by having the blade(s) move over your face and neck on a more regular basis and not causing a shock reaction meaning your skin is now used to a shaving pattern or routine.

Fourth

Question:Is there a specific method of how to shave the right way because we are not taught how to shave as young men are we?

Answer:The answer is yes however will take a little patience and you should see significant changes in hair growth patterns within 6-9 months as long as you stick to these shaving guidelines.

Solution:Always start your shave on the cheeks shaving down with the grain and take short (approx 2cm) controlled strokes to the jaw line. For the neck start under the jaw line and shave each side towards the corresponding shoulder (right side of neck towards right shoulder) again using approx 2cm strokes. For under the chin you can shave straight down to the chest moving the razor now upto the top of the chin where you will shave across it rather down on it completing the first shave with the top lip. For the ultimate close shave: You will need to re-lather your face and neck (more shave crème) and now start the shave working from the base of your neck upto the direction of your opposite ear (right side of neck to left ear). Shave up on your cheeks and across the top lipfor baby smooth skin.
