He's used to a few close shaves on the football pitch but now Robbie Savage has taken it one step further by having his whiskers trimmed for charity.
Sav went through the full treatment - from wash to moisturiser via cream and a cut-throat razor - on Friday afternoon to help raise funds for the Teen Pride Appeal, Derby County's chosen charity for 2009.
He was joined for the 40-minute grooming package by Rams colleague Kris Commons and coach Gary Crosby along with club staff and corporate clients - each making a donation to Teen Pride for the privilege.
