Our very own Shavedoctor Mark is off to Greece next week as his shaving skills are now required by Greek barbers!

All days are fully booked and should it be a success a regular visit to Greece will be demanded. We’ll keep you posted on how it goes…

Spring is in the air – and with the new season comes a great new project for us, our ShaveDoctor Shave School!

We had a fantastic day with the pupils of Ercall Wood Tech School in Shropshire. We presented 6 sessions starting at 9am with pupils aged 14-16 taking a great interest in our Shavedoctor’s 1 hour talk on shaving techniques and ‘how to present yourself’ for interviews etc….

The great news is we’ve have been invited back again in the future and this will be one of many UK schools that will be visited by The Shavedoctor over the next 12 months…

Six Simple Tips for the Perfect Shave in 2012

1. If you suffer with razor rash especially around the neck try using shave oil and a shave crème within your shave routine. You will find the oil will aid the glide of the razor which will help protect your skin against the razor blades and the shave crème helps keep the skin moisturised and supple during and after the shave. Yes, we hear some of you say “we have tried using shaving oil in the past but it clogs our razor!” not the Shavedoctor shave oil, try it and you will be amazed.

2. If you suffer with ingrown hairs use the Shavedoctor Facial Scrub daily to help release the trapped hair follicle, gently massage the affected area with the facial scrub using your fingers (don’t squeeze) and never attempt to squeeze or extract an ingrown hair using tweezers or any other method.

3. Most men will tend to shave at 100mph so try and slow the strokes down and take more care when shaving your delicate face you only have one face to protect!
